Singing performances, artistic activities, musical crafts, and more are waiting for young audience members on May 16 at the May Festival's new Festival Family Lounge.

The Festival Family Lounge is a space designed for creating meaningful memories together and making great music accessible to people of all ages. It opens at 5:30 PM in Wilks Studio in Music Hall and stays open until intermission.
The Festival Family Lounge is a ticketed event that features live-streamed performances by the Cincinnati Boychoir and May Festival Youth Chorus, as well as the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra's performance of Duke Ellington’s The River. Special event pricing is available for adults and children. Kids younger than six are welcome to participate at no cost with a ticket.
The May Festival developed this special program to enable kids to enjoy the performing arts in a relaxed and positive place. Singing activities, crafting tables, comfortable seating, snacks, drinks, and more are available for them in the Lounge at no additional cost.
Speaking of drinks, if you'd like something a bit stronger than juice, you'll find a bar by the Lounge where you can also connect and socialize with other families and young professionals while the youngsters engage in their evening of entertainment.
