Heather MacPhail has been the accompanist for the May Festival Chorus since 1990. In addition, she serves as music assistant to the Director of Choruses, Robert Porco, and is a frequent keyboardist with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, performing on piano, organ, harpsichord and celeste. She is also staff accompanist at Miami University, where she supervises and coaches students and performs with students, faculty and guest artists. She is also the pianist for Miami3, a faculty trio of violin, clarinet and piano. Last summer Ms. MacPhail was one of the collaborating artists for the International Double Reed Society Conference, which was held at Miami University.

Ms. MacPhail is active as a piano and organ recitalist throughout greater Cincinnati and has performed as soloist with the Miami University Orchestra, Oxford String Quartet, Central Ohio Symphony Orchestra and Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony Orchestra. She is Organist/Director of Music Ministries at Westwood First Presbyterian Church. Ms. MacPhail maintains a private studio for piano and organ, with piano students active in competitions and recitals.

She holds a Master of Music degree in accompanying and a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
