May Festival Patron Considerations
Dress code is a personal preference. Many patrons feel comfortable in "business casual" attire.
Arrival time

Late seating policy
So as not to disturb other patrons, latecomers will be asked to remain in the lobby. Video monitors are available in the lobby to view the concert. At an appropriate musical break, ushers will assist latecomers to their seats.
Applause
It is customary to wait until the end of a complete work to applaud, and not applaud between movements. When in doubt, wait until significant applause has begun.
Cellphones
Please turn off all cell phones, pagers, watch alarms and other electronic devices before the concert.
Coughing?
The acoustical properties of Music Hall carry audience noise as well as the music. Please unwrap candies or lozenges before the music starts.
Recording devices
The use of photographic (including camera phones) or recording devices is prohibited in the auditorium during May Festival performances.
Smoking is prohibited inside Music Hall. Ohio's recent smoking ban also prohibits smoking in areas immediately adjacent to the Music Hall exterior doors.

Lost and found
Our Lost and Found is located at the coatroom in the foyer. Please check with coatroom personnel regarding any misplaced articles, or call 513.621.1919.
Emergency information
An emergency medical technician is on duty from one hour before the concert until all patrons have left Music Hall.
Expecting a call?
Physicans and others expecting calls should leave their name and seat location at the coatroom and direct calls in advance to 513.621.1919.
Music Hall seating
View seating chart. Seating numbering system is arranged from the center of the hall. On each floor, seats closest to the center sections are number 1. Limited view tickets are printed "LIMITED" and priced accordingly.
May Festival Patron Amenities and Services
Meet the conductors and guest artists
May Festival concertgoers are welcome to meet the conductors and artists in the backstage Green Room after the performance. An usher can assist you.
Refreshments
For the enjoyment of our patrons, bar service and snacks are available in the lobby and the north and south corridors prior to concerts and during intermission. A main lobby bar is also available at most performances.
Restrooms
Restrooms are located in the north and south corridors and both the first and second floors, and in the north corridor on the third floor of Music Hall.
Security information
Security officers are on duty in five stations around Music Hall from 1-1/2 hours before the performance begins until the last patron leaves Music Hall.
Taxi service
Taxi service may be reserved at the courtesy phone in the Music Hall coat room.
Telephone
Pay phones are available in the south corridor on the first floor of Music Hall.
Water fountains
Water fountains are located on all floors in the north and south corridors.
Accommodations for Persons with Disabilities
Handicapped parking is available in the Allright lot next to Music Hall.
Wheelchair ramp is located on Elm Street at the north end of Music Hall.
Handicapped elevator is located on Elm Street at the south end of Music Hall. Please notify the security guard stationed there that you need assistance with the elevator. An elevator is also available in the south corridor, near the concession window.
Special seating is available inside Music Hall to patrons not able to transfer out of their wheelchairs. Please call 513.381.3300 to arrange for seating.
Wheelchairs are available for patrons needing assistance from the lobby to their seats. Patrons should contact an usher in the north lobby for assistance.
Restrooms accessible to handicapped persons are located on the first floor in the south corridor, west of the concession window, and on the second floor in the south corridor.
Assistive listening apparatuses for the hearing impaired are available at the south foyer coatroom.
